Something seen cannot be unseen, and this is the case with Google co-founder Sergey Brin’s Tesla Model S, just thank goodness the damages [the car, grey matter is another story altogether] aren’t permanent.
April 1st, for some, is the perfect time to pull off a prank, and Google employees had a good time with their co-founder’s Tesla Model S. Honestly, this could be the ugliest thing that I’ve ever seen, but as they say, “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.”
Can a Tesla Model S be beautiful in pink if it isn’t a Mary Kay Edition? I’ll leave it to you to decide, so take a peek and then get back to me on this. Mr. Brin took it in stride, taking the BatPinkMobile out for a ride.
Here’s what I think happened: Google employees took an aftermarket magazine and threw darts at it with the cover closed. When they opened the magazine, they bought whatever had a hole through it. The result is a hot-pink vinyl wrap with pink eyelashes and wheels that I’m certain I’ve never seen anywhere else but in an aftermarket magazine.
They could have stopped there, and still gotten away with a pink car, but the madness didn’t end there. The pièce de résistance was the addition of a blazing Batman logo on the hood and Batmobile wings from 1989.
