One of the first 100 percent electric mass-production cars in US is to be launched this year and will be for sale starting 2011. The CODA Sedan will be manufactured by a private American firm that sells battery systems and all-electric vehicles.
CODA integrates a 33.8 kWh lithium-ion battery and a thermal management system that keeps the battery in an established temperature range in order to face fluctuations of weather conditions.
The incorporated electric system has the advantage of providing 40% more usable energy than other electric vehicles of its kind. The CODA Sedan will reach consumers by the end of 2011 in limited editions.
